"As a Deputy Principal working in a large multi-campus school, I was looking for an MBA that was well recognised and had a focus on Educational Management. CSU provided this and was also recommended to me by other people. It also provided the flexibility to study online.

"Fitting study into my life and working in the education field was sometimes a challenge. I lived in Melbourne while I was studying and completed a large amount of study during term breaks and over summer. I also studied on weekends and evenings. I was also fortunate in that my employer provided some flexible study leave.

"I attended a residential school one-day workshop in Sydney for an Accounting module. The workshop was very beneficial. It provided a review of the course and assisted with preparation for the examination. It was also nice to meet other students who were studying the same course.

"The course has provided me with a broad overview of business fundamentals and has equipped me to operate across a range of areas in an educational context. As a principal or deputy principal in a large school you need to have the ability to understand many issues, including human resources, building projects, finance and educational pedagogy. The MBA has provided me with skills to manage all these areas. I also believe that through this course I will gain extra skills and knowledge to assist me in gaining a principal position in the future."
