"I elected to study at CSU as I knew the University had a reputation for high-quality courses in IT and a great reputation for the qualification once it was gained.
"Studying online provides me with flexible study hours and I don't have to waste time travelling to and from a physical classroom. Course support is only ever an email away and help is always available from lecturers, peers or support staff. The course has also assisted me in enhancing my professional practice in IT, as I have applied several research techniques to IT management in my current role. I have found CSU staff to be professional, friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. My peers have been friendly and it has been interesting to view the variety of work undertaken by each IT student.
"Through the Doctor of Information Technology, CSU has provided me with the opportunity to investigate a work-based problem and contribute to my profession. My research contribution to the IT industry is based on the fact that educational facilities may not be aware of the fine balance that is required to maintain stable and secure ICT infrastructure while not obstructing the innovation in classrooms desired by teaching and learning. I intend to disseminate my research outcomes initially by publications in conferences, journals and technical / guest speaking at a later date. I am also hoping my research work will result in guidelines on how to best run ICT departments efficiently and in turn save money to use more widely in terms of innovative teaching and learning practices.
"CSU delivers this course very well - with professionalism and encouragement. If you are prepared to commit time and effort to the course, you will be rewarded with an incredible journey of increased learning and knowledge. I highly recommend this course!"
