"Charles Sturt University (CSU) was my first choice of university because I heard they had the best course for Medical Radiation Science, I am also from the Riverina so the opportunity to study close to home was perfect for me. I think CSU is unique because it is a rural university and can accommodate for all sorts of students.
"I was first in my family to start a degree, and help was always readily available through email and face to face. CSU provided a good variety of workplaces in both private and public organisations in rural and city areas. All of the practical placements and classes strongly influenced my ability to move smoothly into the workforce.
"I had the opportunity to complete placements at various locations, including Coffs Harbour Radiology, Ryde Hospital, Regional Imaging Calvary at Wagga, and at the X-ray Group in Albury.
"The theory classes provided me with enough knowledge to be comfortable and confident to work independently and as a result I am now employed at the X-ray Group Albury as a graduate radiographer. My advice for anyone wanting to study at CSU is to take advantage of all the help, knowledge and resources that are available."
