"As a 31-year-old who, in his 20s, was coasting through his corporate career, had travelled the world and was blessed with great friends and family, I found myself feeling unfulfilled and dissatisfied with my chosen career. So I quit my job and looked into studying nursing as it resonated with my skill set, hopes and aspirations. I like dealing with people from all walks of life and learning about health, and I wanted to be in a career where I could continue to study and grow personally and professionally.
“I’m pleased to say that from day one of uni, I’ve loved every minute of my student nursing career. I found it fascinating to learn about how our bodies work. The great thing about studying at CSU was the personal contact with each of my lecturers and Course Coordinators. I felt listened to and always got treated fairly. I also very much appreciated the practicum aspect of the course as I got great support in organising my final pracs, which I did in remote parts of Australia. What a great experience that I’ll cherish forever.
“Now that I’m a second year Registered Nurse, I still refer back to my old notes and learnings from my student days. I couldn’t recommend CSU enough.”
