victoria armstrong"After being in the field of early childhood education for a fewyears, I started to feel like I wasn't being challenged in my work. I knew I had more to offer. I decided perhaps further study would challenge me and open up new opportunities in the field. I chose CSU's BECS program over other comparable options because of its convenient location and class schedule,which gave me the opportunity to continue working while still upgrading my qualifications."

"I greatly appreciated the small class sizes, as this enabled strong relationships to be formed among students and professors; we all got to know each other really well, andcould celebrate and support each other's strengths, gifts and passions.

"Many of the teachers practised what they preached – that is,they modelled for us the ideas and concepts that we were to take with us into our practice with children and families.

"I take away from the program a richer understanding and belief in children's immense capabilities. I feel like a more equipped educator and advocate, and can create a more enriching environment for children and families where they feel valued, respected, cared for and appreciated.
