"I first heard about CSU after seeing an ad in the back of my university student newspaper, and because it was so close to home, I was interested. I lived overseas after my undergraduate study and when I came back to Canada, my sister-in-law told me to apply for the Bachelor of Primary Education Studies, as she was currently completing it. She convinced me that the program and the professors were excellent."
"What I like most about the program is that you are in the classroom teaching two days a week for the whole school year and you also have teaching blocks. This format gives you the opportunity to build a relationship with not only the students, but with your associate teacher. I also really like that we had an observation week for the first week of school so that we could see first-hand what a first day and first weekin the life of a teacher looked like.
"I really liked the many different teaching styles of our lecturers. They are all experienced faculty who have many great and unique methods and strategies of teaching. They made sure to emphasise that every teacher is different and that asindividuals, we will need to decide what style works for us and then use it.
"I would absolutely recommend this program to friendsand colleagues. I feel like the Bachelor of Primary Education Studies really prepared me for teaching on my own in a classroom."
