Conferences

Conference participation and/or attendance can be a great way to connect with others within your profession.  If you receive academic credit for such trips you may be eligible to receive a $500 Vice Chancellor Travel Grant.

Your School will be able to provide you further advice on upcoming conferences. You should also liaise with your Course Director for credit approval and and guidelines for participation and/or attendance.

Unfortunately, CSU Global is currently unable to award post graduate students the Vice Chancellor Travel Grant.  However, it can offer subsidised travel insurance to PG students undertaking course related activities who purchase their flights through our preferred travel agency. This is the same agency and insurance CSU staff use whilst on international travel. Please contact CSU Global for further details.

Whether or not you are able to receive academic credit CSU Global would still like ensure you are covered by the university risk policies and to record your travel in its mobility statistics. Please complete the Student Registration of International Travel to ensure that we are able to include you in our emergency procedures should something happen while you are away and assist the office in collecting CSU student international travel data.

Held in April, 2016 The Doctoral Thesis Conference (DTC) in April is one of a series of conferences organised by IBS Hyderabad. In its ninth year, the two day event will provide PhD Research students with the opportunity for to showcase their Thesis (work in process) and receive feedback from their peers as well as eminent professors from India and abroad.
