International Experience Program - Macau
Faculty of Arts
School of Psychology - 2013 program
"Studying cross-cultural psychology in Macau has been the experience of a lifetime. I met amazing people, saw incredible things, and had a fantastic time all while learning first-hand in two weeks what a year of essays and textbook revision couldn't hope to teach me. I'd recommend study abroad to anyone. If i can do it anyone can!" - Program participant 2012
This program will provide students with an opportunity to become more aware of the impact of the socio-cultural context on behaviour and to develop cultural awareness. Students will spend two weeks visiting Macau, which is a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People's Republic of China. During the visit, students will attend lectures (in English) in the University of Macau’s, Department of Psychology, visit local psychologically related institutions and learn about Macanese and Chinese culture.
