Program Dates: Various
Program Cost: Students are responsible for their own accommodation, meals, visa, insurance and flight costs. CSU Global will provide a $500 travel grant which can be used towards these costs.
Eligibility: Students who are enrolled in their final year/session of a CSU Teacher Education course.
Credit:
CSU Australian campus students: Any Ontario-based placement would have to match the expectations of course requirements for an Australian placement so that it will be recognised as equivalent.
CSU Ontario campus students: Any Australian-based placement would have to match the expectations of course requirements for an Ontario placement so that it will be recognised as equivalent.
Timeline: In order to ensure you have all your travel arrangements in place it is best to begin this planning at the beginning of the year in which you wish to complete your placement. You must liaise with your Professional Experience Office to ensure that you are eligible to complete your placement abroad.
Process:
- Gain permission from your Course Coordinator to undertake your placement overseas.
- When you have received permission from your Course Coordinator and from the Director Professional Experience, who will liaise with CSU Ontario staff to assist you with your placement, please contact CSU Global to have your travel grant processed.
