International Experience Program: Professional Experience, Vanuatu

Proposed 2013 Program:
This is a professional experience placement, aligned with subject - EPT317 in the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary) degree and the diverse placement for EPT321 in the Bachelor of Education (k_12). A total of 12 students are selected - four from each campus (Albury, Dubbo and Bathurst). Enquiries should be directed to the Professional Experience Coordinator on each campus in the first instance.
When: approx. 26 October - 17 November (exact dates TBC)
Number: 12 students
NB. This program will require 8 students to proceed.
Program Costs: Approx. $2,000 (exact cost TBC)*
*The $500 Vice Chancellor Travel Grant (for eligible students )is not awarded directly to individuals but has already been included in program costings
Costs should include: Program fee; international flights; accommodation; insurance
Costs do not include CSU subject fees and meals
Please note all CSU Global Programs are group ticketed. Your program will depart from either Sydney International Airport or Melboure Tullamarine Airport and return to Sydney International Airport or Melbourne Tullarmarine Airports on the dates listed.
Eligibility: Third year Early Childhood/ Primary pre-service teachers enrolled in EPT317 (or Bachelor of Education (K-12 Middle Schooling) students enrolled in EPT321). Students from other undergraduate education courses may be eligible to apply. Please liaise directly with your Course Director for clarification on eligibility and credit.
Application Timeline
- Application closing date: 26 July, 2013
- Second round application successful students notified (email): within two weeks of closing date
(You MUST have obtained your passport prior to 3 September, 2013. Please note it may take 4-6 weeks to obtain a passport) - $500 non-refundable deposit due: 16 August, 2013
- Final payment date: 9 September, 2013
- Pre-departure session: September/October (exact date to be advised)
