London - International Experience Program

Topic Area: Complementary Medicine

Students will travel to London, United Kingdom to attend the International Society for Complementary Medicine Research (ISCMR) 2013 conference.  The conference will allow students to network with complementary medicine practitioners from around the world and learn about the latest evidence based complementary medicine research.

Students will also have the opportunity to visit a leading London hospital to observe pain clinic operations, meet with Professor Nicola Robinson - editor of the European Journal of Integrative Medicine and spend time experiencing the culture and history of England.

When: 6 - 21 April, 2013

Eligibility: Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) or Bachelor of Health Science (Food and Nutrition).

Credit: Students may be eligible to receive credit for the Workplace Learning component of their course.  Please contact your Course Director for credit approval.

Available program places: 10
NB: This program will require 6 students to proceed.

Cost:Approx $3800*

*The $500 Vice Chancellor Travel Grant (for eligible students) is not awarded directly to students but has already been included in program costings.

Costs should include: Program fee, international flights, accommodation, in-country transport, conference fee and insurance.
Costs do not include CSU subject fees, sightseeing costs or meals

Please note: All CSU Global programs are group ticketed.  Your program will depart from Sydney and return to Sydney on the dates listed.

  • Final and full payment due: 13 March, 2013
    (You MUST have obtained your passport prior to this date. Please note it may take 4-6 weeks to obtain a passport)
