International Experience Program: New Zealand

Topic Area: Agriculture
Hosted by Massey University, this program will give students a comprehensive overview of New Zealand agricultural production systems. Students will visit a range of industries such as beef, dairy, lamb, wool and intensive horticulture and examine various facets of these industries.
Program Dates: 15 day tour - this program will run again in 2014
Number of Places: 20
Cost: Approx $3500 - based on 2012 program fees (exact costs TBC*
*Students may be eligible to receive a $500 travel grant from CSU Global. The $500 Vice Chancellor Travel Grant is not awarded directly to students but has already been included in program costings.
Costs should include: Program fee, international flights, travel costs in New Zealand, accommodation, most meals, and insurance.
Costs do not include CSU subject fees
Please note all CSU Global Programs are group ticketed. Your program will depart from Sydney and return to Sydney on the dates listed.
Eligibility: Students enrolled in the School of Agricultural and Wine Sciences
Credit Arrangements: AGR347 Rural Project; AGR375 Agribusiness Planning; SCI301(International tour will form part of the requirements for these subjects. You will need to discuss these requirements with the subject coordinator for the individual subjects to determine the suitability of credit in an individual subject. Only one credit can be applied for in relation to the tour.)
