We're Australia's first Carbon Neutral University

National Carbon Offset Standard LogoCSU has been declared Australia's first official carbon neutral university.

Certified as 'Carbon Neutral' against the National Carbon Offset Standard as part of the Australian Government's Carbon Neutral Program, CSU are once again demonstrating leadership in sustainability.

CSU - Green Globe, Green Gown and Blue Star award finalists

CSU are in the running for three 2016 Sustainability Awards! 

In recognition of CSU's sustainability achievements throughout 2016 the CSU Green team are pleased to announce CSU as finalists in the following awards:


The NSW Government's Green Globe Awards celebrating excellence, leadership and innovation in sustainability. 

Winners announced 28th October 2016.

The ACTS Green Gown Awards Australasia recognising excellence in sustainability within the tertiary education sector in Australasia. 

Winners announced 3rd November 2016.

Keep NSW Beautiful's Blue Star Sustainability Awards recognising and celebrating the hard work of NSW citizens who promote responsible environmental management in their local area. 

Winners announced 5th November 2016.

Abercrombie Connections – Fullerton / Hadley

Would you like to make some new friends and give something back to the environment? Conservation Volunteers Australia (CVA) is looking for Volunteers to join their Abercrombie Connections revegetation project in the beautiful Southern Tablelands of NSW.

Book for a day, to get away overnight or even stay for a 4-night Mini break!

  • Mon 24th - Fri 28th October
  • Mon 28th November - Friday 2nd December

Orange campus now has an organic waste collection through CSU Green's new initiative CSU Organics

Orange campus is collecting food scraps and other organic waste in the staff and residence kitchens.
