CSU - Green Gown Award Australasia Winner for 2016

CSU has received further accolades for the leadership it has shown in becoming Australia's first certified Carbon Neutral university by winning the Green Gown Award Australasia - Carbon Reduction category. 

The Award which recognises excellence in sustainability within the tertiary education sector in Australasia was presented as part of the annual Australasian Campuses Towards Sustainability conference.

CSU - Green Globe Winner for 2016

 CSU has been recognised as one of the state's biggest movers and shakers in environmental excellence, leadership and innovation taking out the 2016 Green Globe prize at the award ceremony held at the Art Gallery of NSW.

As Australia's first carbon neutral university CSU was acknowledged for this achievement as joint winners of this year's Regional Sustainability Award along with Jaliigirr Biodiversity Alliance.

Congratulations to all finalists for your hard work and commitment to excellence in sustainability.

We're Australia's first Carbon Neutral University

National Carbon Offset Standard LogoCSU has been declared Australia's first official carbon neutral university.

Certified as 'Carbon Neutral' against the National Carbon Offset Standard as part of the Australian Government's Carbon Neutral Program, CSU are once again demonstrating leadership in sustainability.

CSU - Blue Star award finalists

CSU have been awarded a finalist award for the Sustainable Systems category in the 2016 Blue Star Sustainability Awards! 

In recognition of CSU's sustainability achievements throughout 2016 the CSU Green team are pleased to be finalists in Keep NSW Beautiful's Blue Star Sustainability Awards recognising and celebrating the hard work of NSW citizens who promote responsible environmental management in their local area. Congratulations to the Overall Regional Sustainability Award prize winners - the city of Maitland.

Abercrombie Connections – Fullerton / Hadley


Would you like to make some new friends and give something back to the environment? Conservation Volunteers Australia (CVA) is looking for Volunteers to join their Abercrombie Connections revegetation project in the beautiful Southern Tablelands of NSW.

Book for a day, to get away overnight or even stay for a 4-night Mini break!
