CSU's Annual Sustainability Grant Stream One (small projects) funding is NOW OPEN. With a total funding pool of $60,000 applicants can apply for a maximum of $15,000 per project. The due date for Stream One applications is FRIDAY 1 JULY 2016 by 5 pm.
Staff and students interested in implementing a small engaging campus or workplace sustainability initiative can apply for the Grass Roots grant program. With a total funding pool of $15,000 applicants can apply for a maximum of $1,000 per project and applications are accepted year round.
Would you like to plant a native tree and improve biodiversity on your campus?
Tree Planting Day is planned for Wagga Wagga Campus on Friday 8th July 2016 from 10am to 12pm.

Please wear sturdy footwear and bring a water bottle.
Gloves and tools will be supplied and tree planting volunteers are invited to a BBQ lunch following the planting.

CSU has launched two electric carts at Bathurst and Wagga Wagga campuses. Helping to reduce CSU's carbon emissions the new orange carts have low running costs and will get around campus allowing staff to drive where regular vehicles cannot access such as paths and across grass.

Orange campus now has an organic waste collection through CSU Green's new initiative CSU Organics.
Orange campus is collecting food scraps and other organic waste in the staff and residence kitchens.

CSU Green are pleased to report the possums are happy to be moving home at Orange campus!
CSU Green provided funding through a Grass Roots Grant to the Division of Facilities Management at Orange campus to purchase several possum boxes to deter the possums sharing their residence with the students.
The CSU Green team and DFM staff are happy to report that:
