Sustainability committees and working groups

Division of Information Technology Environmental Sustainability Working Party (DITES)

DITES is an open working party in DIT to help focus the Division's activities towards environmental sustainable practices. In cooperation with the CSU Green office, the working party focuses on issues of environmental sustainability within the Division, as well as across the broader University community through the use of technology.

DITES has implemented a number of environmentally sustainable practices in relation to information and communications technology, including improved conferencing facilities, introduction of responsible procurement policies, and responsible disposal of e-waste.
