Student groups and programs

Some of the greatest energy for environmental action can be found in the Student Groups that have formed across CSU's campuses. These groups bring a social and fun element to environmental commitment!

Green Adventure People (GAP)

Albury-Wodonga Campus

The GAP club aims to close the gap between students and their environment. The group organises and participates in environmental and adventure activities on and off campus, such as climbing days, ski trips, road trips, the Students of Sustainability Conference and the campus sustainability garden.

The club is open to all students and staff across all schools within the university. If you would like to get involved or have an idea for an activity send an email to greenadventurepeople@gmail.com.

You can also check out the GAP Facebook page!

EcoActive

Wagga Wagga Campus

This group grew to fifty members in early 2009. The group is now back in action, for Semester 2 of 2011! Staff and students are welcome to join, or get updates on activities, via the EcoActive blog

You can also check out the EcoActive Facebook page!

Green Steps @ CSU

CSU is excited to offer the Green Steps @ Uni program, a free training and internship program for selected students. The program is run in partnership with the Monash Sustainability Institute. For more details on this great program, check out the Green Steps page on our website.

Are there other Environmental Student Groups within CSU that aren't listed here? Please let us know!

Students are invited to pass on ideas for sustainbaility initiatives at CSU to our Committees, or to volunteer to be on working groups by contacting CSU Green.
