Dr Ying Chang

Dr Ying Shi Chang is a passionate and friendly dentist. She is dedicated to providing the best possible care to her patients. Ying Shi was the principle dentist at her own dental practice in Sri Lanka before moving to Orange in 2010 to work at Charles Sturt University.

Being in dental practice for the last 13 years, she prides herself on being a gentle clinician and strives to alleviate patients' anxiety towards dental treatment. Ying Shi currently carries out only oral surgical procedures such as wisdom teeth extraction, biopsies, oral lesions and has a special interest in oral medicine and oral pathology.

Ying Shi ranked first throughout her undergraduate years and graduated top of her class at dental school in 2004. She was awarded the Sri Lankan Dental Association Gold Medal for academic distinction. She has undertaken further postgraduate study with the University of Sydney being awarded a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Surgical Dentistry). After completion of her postgraduate training Ying Shi returned to Orange and holds the position of Dental surgeon and Adjunct associate lecturer/tutor with Charles Sturt University. She is also a clinical educator with the University of Sydney.

During her free time Ying Shi likes to experiment with cooking, travel and explore new places.
