How to book a teleconference
You book using the Academic Teleconference Booking Form at least 2 business days prior to the conference. When making the booking you need to provide the number of participants required and the time, date and duration of the conference.
A confirmation email will be sent to you with instructions on how to enter the conference and a conference ID that is required to enter
Please note: The teleconference system has a maximum of 20 concurrent connections at any one time. For example if there is an existing booking for 10 connections then there are only 10 remaining connections available to be booked for the duration of the original booking.
Instruction for entering the conference
When the conference starts participants can enter the conference by dialling 1300 661 190. Please Note: if you are dialing internally on a CSU phone make sure you place a 0 in front of the number e.g. 01300 661 190.
Important: Participants calling from outside Australia need to call using 61 2 6933 4757. International callers need to contact the local telecommunications provider for instruction on how to dial international calls.
When connected the participants and convener will be asked to enter the conference ID followed by the # key, once you have entered the ID you will be connected.
During the connection you will hear a sound that indicates participants are joining or leaving the conference.
You can leave the conference at anytime however the conference will cut off when your requested end time has past.
