Welcome to the Office of Indigenous Affairs

The Office of Indigenous Affairs led by the PVC Indigenous Education, has direct oversight of the Indigenous Education Strategy and Sub-Plan, external and community relations, and institute-wide alignment and coordination of other key elements of work relevant to increasing employment levels of Indigenous staff, enhancing advancement of Indigenous Staff qualifications through extended opportunities for professional development and academic engagement, building load and improving retention and success of Indigenous Australian students; and increase Indigenous research output and scholarships of Indigenous learning and knowledges through building engagement between CSU’s research and Indigenous Communities.

The PVCIE reports to Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research Development and Industry, who is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the administration of research and research training at CSU which includes governance of six Research Centre’s, the Research Office and the portfolios of the Pro Vice-Chancellors for Indigenous Education and International, Education and Partnerships.
