Who we are and what we do
DIT is responsible and accountable for the strategic management, development and support of information technology across the university and the provision of related services to all staff and students of CSU. The DIT Service Catalogue provides details regarding the services supported by the division.
Generally speaking our areas of responsibility include providing, maintaining and supporting:
- The online learning environment for students (student.csu)
- The online environment for staff (staff.csu)
- Equipment and technical services in teaching spaces
- Student computing facilities (learning commons and labs)
- Desktop computing environment
- Communication and collaborative services (including email, telephony and fax, videoconferencing, teleconferencing, network and Internet)
- The CSU administrative computing environment
- Corporate software
- Staff IT training, Inductions and Student IT orientation
