Core and Non-Core Information Technology Services
The Division of Information Technology's support strategy is based on a core and non-core policy that was introduced in 1999. More details can be found here
Essentially, core information technology services are those that are required by University staff to perform the duties required of them. The primary examples of such services are:
- Access to the Intranet/Internet
- Access to the University's academic and administrative information and services
- Ability to operate the standard suite of core software
- Ability to print to a networked printer within the near vicinity
- Lecture theatres to have functional data projectors
- Revised Training assistance policy
- Revised DIT policy for information retention and archiving
- Revised disposal of desktop computers policy
- Revised CSU mobile phone purchasing policy
- Revised complaints policy
- Revised policy for work experience students
- Policy on visitors to CSU
- Policy for department leave
- Policy of staff induction
