The Business Process Office (BPO) was established to support continuous improvement endeavours across CSU, by assisting groups and individuals to model, review, analyse andimprove business processes and to plan for process change.
The Business Process Office offers guidance and support in the undertaking of continuous improvement initiatives through providing resources and training in process improvement tools and techniques and related facilitation services.
Support for Process improvement
The Business Process Office starts from the premise that improvements in CSU's organisational performances are enabled by improving business processes. The processes we have give us the results we are getting. If we want different results, we need to improve or redesign our processes.The starting point is to understand our processes and their place in the CSU operating environment. The BPO uses various process thinking tools and techniques to help understand the inter-relationships among processes, identify improvement opportunities and hence target improvement efforts.
The Business Process Office provides training in process improvement covering practical skills and improvement methodologies.Training can be tailored to meet specific requirements depending on current skill levels and overall objectives, including training in the tools and techniques to make change happen.
The Business Process Office realises that one size does not fit all. Consulting services can be adapted and tailored to suit differing requirements. Such requirements may include coaching, consulting, training or a combination of these.
