P And S Drive Archived Files
The Division of Information Technology is currently reviewing the Storage and Archiving Infrastructure in efforts to improve these services and meet the requirements of CSU.
Staff are probably aware of the changes that have been occurring with email archiving over the past several months. We now need to retrieve the archived files on the central file servers (P and S drive). To facilitate this retrieval, we will be turning off any new file archiving and we ask that staff do not try and archive anymore files.
Those files that are already archived will still be accessible as usual. Over the coming months, all files that have been archived will be retrieved back to the S and P drive.
The Division of Information Technology will advise on strategies to manage space on the P and S drives in the future.
