How to create or join a teleconference
- From a telephone dial ext 34755 (or 02 69334755 when off campus) and you will be asked to either enter a conference ID then # to join an existing conference or press * to create your own conference.
- For example, you could use your telephone extension number for the conference ID but any short number will do. Remember you need to tell the participants the ID number as they will need this to join.
- If you follow the prompts you will have no trouble joining or creating your own conference.
- The conference ID is used by particpants to join your conference and you will be given an option to enter a PIN if you wish to conduct a secure meeting.
Entering a Video Conference by telephone
Anyone can join a Video Conference by telephone the same way as you would join a teleconference using a Video Conference ID which you can obtain by calling 84357 or 02 63384357 prior to the day of the meeting.
