Connecting to Thin Client @ CSU

Students
Off Campus Access
- Download the RDC connection software
- Copy the RDC folder to a location on the Hard Drive. Preferably /Applications/Utilities.
- Download the CSU Student Access connection file (Category 3 Non-Standard Applications) and save it onto your computer.
- Open the connection file.
- Enter your username and password.
In addition to Office 2007 Category 3 contains non standard applications like Maple, SPSS, S-Plus and some specific course related software.
Staff
On Campus Access
There should be a shortcut to Thin Client on your desktop, the shortcut is called Thin Client Access. Once you have opened this select the one you need to use. If you do not have this icon please advise the IT Service Desk. The icon is located there to make connecting to Thin Client quicker and easier for you but you can still connect to Thin Client now by selecting a configuration file below.
Download the configuration files for On Campus Access
- Staff Access Category 1 (Standard Staff Desktop)
- Special Application Access Category 2 (Non-standard Staff Desktop includes Beims )
Off Campus Access
- Download the RDC connection software
- Copy the RDC folder to a location on the Hard Drive. Preferably /Applications/Utilities.
- Download the CSU Staff Access connection file (Category 4 Standard Staff Desktop) and save it onto your computer.
- Open the connection file.
- Enter your username and password.
Category 4 is the standard staff desktop for off campus use.
