Please note users of Firefox must either use an extension such as IE-Tab or right-click on the link and save the rdp file to their computer and then double-click on it at that location to run it.

IMPORTANT NOTICE for older Windows based personally owned computers

If your Operating System is older than Windows XP Service Pack 2 you will need to install additional software. The software below will install the client portion of Remote Desktop on any of the following Operating Systems: Windows 95, Windows 98 and 98 Second Edition, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000. When run, this software allows older Windows platforms to remotely connect to Thin Client.

Installation Instructions

Off Campus Printing

Students and staff can print from Thin Client to their own printers or create a PDF that can be emailed by installing the software provided below. It is a silent install meaning it will not display installation information, it will only take a few seconds to complete.

CSU Student & Staff Access Category 3 and 4 printing

Students please note:

New printing software required, choose which Operating System type you have

Printing Software Installation Instructions

  1. To start the installation immediately, click Open or Run this program from its current location
  2. To copy the download to your computer for installation at a later time, click Save or Save this program to disk and then install the program

You must restart your computer to start using the printing software.

For further information about remote printing from Thin Client refer to the document “Remote Printing.doc” located on the desktop of the Thin Client server that you use when off campus (Cat3 or Cat 4).
