Please note users of Firefox must either use an extension such as IE-Tab, or right-click on the link and save the rdp file to their computer and then double-click on it at that location to run it.

For non CSU Computers - IMPORTANT NOTICE

If your operating system is older than Windows XP Service Pack 2 you will need to install the following software.

This software package will install the client portion of Remote Desktop on any of the following operating systems: Windows 95, Windows 98 and 98 Second Edition, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000. When run, this software allows older Windows platforms to remotely connect to thin client.

Off Campus Printing

You can print off campus from Thin Client (Category 3 & 4) to your default printer on your computer or send the output to themselves or any other users via email as an Adobe Acrobat PDF document. To facilitate this, a small client program must be installed on your local machine. It is a silent install which takes only seconds.

CSU Student & Staff Access Category 3 and 4 printing

Students please note: New printing software required.

Do one of the following

  1. To start the installation immediately, click Open or Run this program from its current location.
  2. To copy the download to your computer for installation at a later time, click Save or Save this program to disk and then install the program.

You must restart your computer to activate the printing software.
For further information about remote printing on thin client, please refer to the document “Remote Printing.doc” located on the desktop of the thin client server you are using (Cat3 or Cat 4)
