Printing From Your Own Laptop To CSU Printers
Students on all major Australian campuses can print from their own laptop to any CSU student printer on their campus
- Students wishing to print from their own laptops to CSU student printers in any Learning Commons, Library or Computer Lab must first install the relevant student printer driver for their campus and laptop Operating System. The minimum requirements to use this service are
- Windows laptops running Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 and above
- Macintosh laptops running OS X Version 10.4.x and above
Downloading And Installing The Printer Drivers
Windows drivers are listed in the first group and Macintosh drivers are listed in the second group
- Click here to visit the Pharos Uniprint page and get started
- Locate your Campus from the relevant group and click campus
- Click Run when the Verifying window appears
- Click Run when the Security Warning window appears
- Click Install when the Package Installer window appears
- Wait for the installation to complete
- Click the Finish button when it has finished installing
The CSU student printers are now installed on your laptop. You still need to release your print job from the Pharos Release station just as you do when printing from CSU computers.
Remember to always keep your printing account in credit. Your printing account balance can be checked at any time using a Pharos Release station.
