A user wanting a H1414N/DA Headset must purchase the Amplifier and the headset together unless they have an IQ360, which features a built in headset amplifier. This includes all digital phone models.

M12/DA Amplifier

The M12/DA amplifier is our standard amplifier for all corded headsets. The M12/DA Amplifier comes with 2AA batteries (which slot into the side), but it is the responsibility of the customer to replace these when they get low (the headset will beep periodically, and sound quality will drop rapidly). A power pack is available ($20) for this product so you dont have to use batteries.
