Connecting to Thin Client @CSU

On Campus Access
There should be a Thin Client Access folder on the users desktop within this folder is CSU Desktop (RDP).
This connection points to the CSU Terminal Server.
If local Drives are not being mapped then please see step
6 below
Off Campus Access
- Download the RDC connection software from here
- Copy the RDC folder to a location on the Hard Drive. Preferably /Applications/Utilities.
- Open the RDC application.
- Accept License Agreement.
- Click Register Later.
- Client Configuration.
- Enter the Computer (Server) location (see locations below).
- Click Options Down arrow.
- General TAB, Enter Domain.
- Performance TAB, Select connection speed.
- Local Resources TAB, Select Disk Drives.
- General TAB, Save As.
- If connection already exists, then overwrite;
- If not, please give it a meaningful name and save it.

- Staff - rdpc4.riv.csu.edu.au
Connected to CSU Network
- rdpc3.riv.csu.edu.au (Students - Cat3)
- rdpc4.riv.csu.edu.au (Staff only - Cat4)
- rdpc2.riv.csu.edu.au (Staff only - Cat2)
- rdp01.riv.csu.edu.au (Staff only - Cat1)
