SPSS Printing

The following is meant to be a guide for students having difficulties saving PDF files from ThinClient.

Please make sure that you follow each step EXACTLY as shown below.

Using ThinClient

Log into ThinClient as you normally would. You will be brought to a virtual desktop and your screen will look similar to the picture below:

SPSS

Open SPSS and your data file as you normally would.

Selecting Print

Click FILE in the top left of the screen

Then select PRINT from the menu.

Printer Settings

Now you are brought to the print screen:

Make sure your printer is selected as UNIVERSAL PRINTER:

Once this has been selected, click PROPERTIES on the right:

Delivery Options

A new screen will appear, similar to the one below. Click on DELIVERY OPTIONS:

Now select SAVE TO DISK.Type C:\test.pdf into the text box as shown below:

Now click OK

Printing

You will be brought back to the Print screen. Click OK again:

The system should now save your Test.pdf file to your local machine hard drive! Congratulations!
