1. How do I log in to FMCentral?
All staff and students have general access to FMCentral. It does not require a login, however in order to obtain a higher level of access you need to login using your CSU login details. With a higher level of access you may be able to access reports or view more spatial layers on the map.
To login to FMCentral you first need to enter either Map Enquiry, Report Maker or Room Enquiry. Then simply click Log Out in the top right hand corner of the window, enter your username and password and click Log In.
2. How will FMCentral benefit me?
FMCentral provides a number of functions, including the ability to:
- Display campus maps and building floor plans.
- Search for and locate a space such as a building, a meeting room or a classroom.
- Print campus maps or building plans to help you navigate around the campus.
- Customise printed maps to include any extra details required.
- Depending on your access level you may be able to print space reports.
3. Which campuses are available on FMCentral?
Campus maps are available for;
- Albury
- Bathurst
- Canberra
- Dubbo
- Orange
- Wagga North
- Wagga South
Building floor plans are available for
- Residential and non-residential buildings at Albury campus
- Many non-residential buildings at Wagga Wagga North campus
- Most buildings at Dubbo campus
- A limited number of non-residential buildings at Orange and Bathurst campuses
Over time more floor plans will become available. Please note that if you click on a building and no building plan is shown this is probably because the plan is not yet available.
4. How can I print a campus map or building floor plan?
1.Navigate to the campus map or building plan that you wish to print. Click the print icon in the fixed toolbar at the top of the screen (not under the file menu);
2.Then click the print icon in the floating toolbar;
In the print dialog box that appears select the appropriate printer -> Print (If you get an error about Adobe Flash Player running slowly hit ‘No’).
5. How can I export a campus map or building floorplan to PDF format?
1. Navigate to the campus map or building plan that you wish to print. Click the print icon in the fixed toolbar at the top of the screen (not under the file menu);
2. Then click the print icon in the floating toolbar;
3. In the print dialog box that appears select Adobe PDF to export to a PDF file.
6. What if I find an error in FM Central?
Please provide feedback via the Feedback Form option located in the top right hand corner of the FMCentral Main page. In order to allow us to address the error as quickly and completely as possible please provide as many details as you can.
Examples of errors include:
- Campus maps or building plans are not displaying correctly.
- Campus maps and building plans display but the themes and labels do not.
- Rooms are incorrectly numbered or named – please provide the campus, building, level, room number and name details.
- Building layout is not correctly represented by the building floor plan – please provide campus, building and a detailed description of how the building plan is incorrect
- Incorrect department code
7. What new features are going to be added to FM Central?
