Project Brief

The new Sporting complex for Albury-Wodonga campus will incorporate:

  • Relocation of the existing turfed 40m x 29m level grassed playing area.
  • New Multi-purpose court to serve Basketball, Volley Ball, Badminton, Netball and Handball – including perimeter CW fence, posts and nets, line markings, backboards, gates, projection screen hold-down points and lighting.
  • New Half-court practice court for Basketball & Netball - including line markings, backboard, projection screen hold-down points and lighting.
  • New steel-framed open shelter structure to cover 10 x tables (80 students) over outdoor seating area Structure to be located abutting BBQ, multi-purpose and half-court facilities.
  • New BBQ bench with integral sink and 2 x BBQ’s
  • New roofed bleacher facility to accommodate 60 persons (seated) adjacent to the Multi-purpose court, with lockable storage facilities under/adjacent for net posts and the like.
  • Associated paths and area lighting.

Funding

$250,000 of these funds was made available via Commonwealth SSAF funding.
