Project Brief

Upgrade of 20-year old teaching spaces to better serve current teaching methodologies forboth School of Teacher Education and generic teaching requirements at Bathurst campus.

Archiectural Features

The upgrades of 8 teaching/tutorial rooms involve:

  • demolition of redundant rooms such as darkrooms, observation rooms, stores etc to create larger, flexible spaces
  • new finishes and furnishings.
  • Cardax door access hardware
  • Rationalised AV installations
  • New mechanical plant and controls
  • Inclusion of balustrading to non-compliant hand railings at stairs and upper walkways. 

Sustainability Features

Provision of higher efficiency lighting, mechanical systems and controls.
