Project Brief

The new University Dental and Oral Health Centre (UDOHC) will house joint dental clinics for clinics for CSU and Greater Western Area Health Service. The Project will be funded by both Federal and NSW State Governments (NSW Health).

The UDOHC will be located on the CSU Duboo campus, with access from River Street forming a health precinct with the Base Hospital and other healthcare facilities.

The building will provide 16 dental chairs, comprising 8 open clinic chairs, and 2 enclosed clinic chairs and 6 enlcosed clinic chairs for GWAHS. The project includes all associated support spaces, including public health education facilities and dental technology laboratory and seminar room for cross campus video teaching. The clinics will be a fully digital environment, featuring Planmeca "Compact i' dental chairs and "Intra" intraoral X-ray equipment.
