Project Brief

This project will provide teaching and other accommodation for staff and students of the new School of Dentistry and Health Sciences, which will see its first intake of students in February 2009. The new 3 year Oral Health Therapy course will be based at Wagga and will have an initial enrolment of 20 students per year. In addition to the OHT students, Bachelor of Dentistry students, based at Orange, will carry out clinical rotations at the Wagga campus.

The new capital works have been funded by the Federal Department of Health and Ageing. The building at the Wagga campus will include a 24 chair dental teaching clinic, and associated support spaces, general and specialist teaching facilities, offices, research facilities and student interaction spaces. In addition there will be new car-parking for staff, students and clinic patients.
