Project Brief

The objective is to build a new building for the School of Community Health Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Science for CSU.
The building will provide two musculoskeletal teaching clinics, preparation room and associated storage, a large rehabilitation gymnasium and associated storage and a Virtual teaching space to accommodate 50 students. The project includes all associated support spaces, student interaction areas and associated academic staff offices and facilities.
The project includes associated site infrastructure works:

  1. Upgrade of campus entry
  2. Forecourt, walkways and landscaping
  3. Upgrade of hydraulic and gas services to align with campus master planning
  4. Construction of new entry road from Leeds Pde (to align with campus master planning)
  5. Additional carparking and road widening/ re-alignment
  6. Relocation of High Voltage electrical main (to align with master plan service corridor)

The project has received $7.0m funding from the Federal Government's TLC (Teaching & Learning Centre) funding.
