Project Brief

Works are currently underway funded through the Commonwealth VSU Grant of $2.6M and a CSU contribution of $500,000 for the creation of a health and wellness area on the Bathurst campus and a upgrade to sporting facilities.

This work involves:
Rugby Union Facilities Upgrade
Training Field Upgrade
Partial Completion of the Health and Wellness Area.

Rugby Union Field Upgrade:
Field works: complete upgrade to a high quality playing surface, stripping, cultivation, drainage, Laser levelling, new couch / rye turf
Irrigation: fully automatic pop up sprinkler system
Lighting: Upgrade luminaries
Amenities Block Extension; Expansion of Existing Facilities
Storage Shed Provision: Provision of storage sheds for sports equipment.

Training Field Upgrade:
Amenities Block Extension: Provision of change rooms, accessible bathroom and facilities.
Storage Shed Provision
Provision of storage sheds for sports equipment.
Field works: Renovate existing rye grass, spray, locally trim and fill to alleviate field deviations, scarify to remove thatch build up, oversow with rye.
Irrigation: fully automatic pop up sprinkler system
Lighting: Upgrade luminaries

Health & Wellness Area:
4 new tennis courts
2 new multiuse courts
New Access Ramps
New Pathways
Picnic shade structure and BBQ locations
