Project Brief

The Sutherland Laboratories complex provides a key teaching and research centre for the agriculture and veterinary science disciplines. The recent fire damage to one of the laboratories has caused inconvenience to the ongoing teaching for the staff and students. In order to accommodate the current and future teaching needs, the university has planned to refurbish the damaged laboratory as a multi purpose laboratory to satisfy the immediate teaching requirements for the agricultural and veterinary undergraduate students.

The objective of this project is to reconstruct the existing Sutherland laboratory 141 on the same foot prints of the original building. The design was modified to comply with current building code and teaching laboratory standards.
