What does the '%' sign mean?
The '%' sign is used to represent all possible values that exist in the database for the field it is used in. It is the 'wildcard'.
For example when it is used in the person search form (go through FOAIDEN)
You are looking for a person whose name you have been told is Kate Rowbottom. You want to do a thorough search. You don't know if this person is Kate or Katherine so you use '%'

Financial Services is currently in the process of creating a database of held items at each Store on the the Finance website. This will be developed over time into a shopping cart database, that will allow you to compile an order on-line, print off and send through to Stores to be filled.
