Section 13 of the OH&S Act (2000) requires that the University must consult with their employees to enable the employees to contribute to the making of decisions affecting their health, safety and welfare at work.
For consultation to have been meaningful and effective, Section 14 of the Act requires:

Accordingly, two of the current EH&S forms relating to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and risk assessments undertaken using the Risk Register, have been amended to include a new section to be added to the rear of the forms, that contain a certification that OHS consultation has occurred.
