Casual Academic Staff - Terms of Appointment

Information Description

Where the University engages an employee in the form of a casual academic staff appointment, the following information shall be provided to the employee:

  • Period of employment;
  • Duties to be performed;
  • Estimated maximum number of hours to be worked
  • Rate of pay

This information is documented on the Contract of Employment for Casual Academic Staff (B53).
A statement that any additional duties required during the term will attract a separate and additional payment should also be provided.
