Planning Induction (internal appointments)

All existing staff moving into new positions, or returning from extended periods of leave, will require a planned learning program and support based on a reassessment of their learning needs. Induction for internal appointments follows the same program principles, ie: staff will require:


Information
  • Learning opportunities to assist them perform duties (Checklist 2, Checklist3)
  • A workplace orientation (Checklist 4)
  • Clear performance expectations of duties and standards (Checklist 5)
  • A review of their Performance Management Plan within 6 weeks.
  • Feedback on progress and performance.

Managers will modify the checklists [DOC] and program to suit the needs of the individual appointment.
