Exposure
This describes the development that occurs as a consequence of the interaction with others. It is the learning that occurs as a result of exposure to information, feedback and from observing and working with role models. A number of strategies are appropriate here including:
- Forums and networks

- Shadowing and observing others
- Communities of practice
- Action learning sets
- Knowledge sharing through discussion and dialogue
- 360 degree feedback
- Working with leaders and peers
