Wellness and Wellbeing Expo

CSU recognises the value of promoting wellness and wellbeing in the workplace, and the added benefits to individuals and their families of taking a proactive approach to improving health outcomes. 2013 marked the launch of CSU's inaugural Wellness and Wellbeing conference and expo.

The expos and conferences held were extremely successful and we thank staff for their support in attending the expos and participating in the workshops.

Flu Vaccinations The flu vaccinations program will be offered in late March and early April 2013. You will be able to register for a flu vaccination at the Wellness and Wellbeing Expo from 5- 14 February. As well the link will be posted on Whats New. Please note that the flu vaccinations will be offered at the following locations for 2013: Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Canberra, Dubbo, Goulburn, Orange, Port Macquarie and Wagga Wagga.

Weight Watchers@Work Program currently running on Bathurst Campus hoping to expand to other campus. Please register your interest at the Wellness and Wellbeing Expo
Ride To Work Ride to Work will be held on Wednesday 16 October 2013
Walk to Work Walk to Work will be held on Thursday 5 September 2013
Managers Helpline A telephone-based service designed to support managers in proactively addressing issues at an early stage, and to provide access to useful HR resources.
Work/Life balance Details the policies and procedures to facilitate and improve balancing career and personal commitments.
CSU Wellness Calendar Health Activities that will happen through out 2013
CSU Wellness Survey Survey that CSU Staff can complete information is completely confidential and will be used to deliver wellness and wellbeing programs in the future.

beyondblue is a national, independent, not-for-profit organisation working to address issues associated with depression, anxiety and related disorders in Australia.

Lifeline

Lifeline provides access to crisis support, suicide prevention and mental health support services in addition to national services and campaigns that promote emotional wellbeing, encourage help seeking, and address suicide prevention and awareness.

E-couch

E-couch is a self-help interactive program with modules for depression, generalised anxiety & worry, social anxiety, relationship breakdown, and loss & grief.

MoodGYM

MoodGYM is a free self help program to teach cognitive behaviour therapy skills to people
vulnerable to depression and anxiety.
