A position description is used to describe the role and responsibilities of positions within the University, together with the required qualifications, experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, capabilities and behaviours required to fill the position and be successful in the role. It provides an understanding of the role by providing information that describes the job, its functions and reporting relationships.  All positions at CSU require a properly prepared, relevant and current position description in the standard University format.
