Set in the future, Oscar nominated actor Pete Postlethwaite (In The Name of the Father, Usual Suspects, Brassed Off) stars as a man living alone in a devastated future world caused by climate change. Playing the only fictional character, Pete Postlewaithe is The Archivist, who's been living alone for 20 years in an enormous storage facility housing all of humanity's achievements. The year is 2055 and runaway climate change has devastated huge parts of the world and killed hundreds of millions of people. Looking at old footage from 2008 he asks: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance? |
