CSU offers a selection of workshops and programs through the Professional Development Providers Network.
- Working Effectively - These programs provide information and context for those new to the University; will help you to communicate more effectively; assist to build your personal productivity within your work team; enhance your understanding of how equal employment opportunity applies to CSU; and provide knowledge and skills to assist your career development within CSU.
- Leadership and Management - These programs will assist CSU Leaders and Managers to develop skills and knowledge that wil enable them to influence people effectively, manage change and manage resources and processes.
- Learning and Teaching - These programs support the development of learning and teaching skills and knowledge for the delviery of CSU courses.
- Research - These programs will enhance your ability to engage in research activities.
- EH&S and Risk Management - These programs will enhance your knowledge of OHS principles as well as the relevant legislation. They will also assist you to apply risk managmeent principles and strategies within a CSU context.
- Finance and Assets - These programs will help you develop a working knowledge of CSU financial systems and budgetary processes and develop specific skills in relation to asset maintenance, specifically cleaning operations.
- Library Essentials - These workshops develop skills in relation to accessing and using information and services from within CSU's network of libraries.
- Information Technology - These programs develop knowledge and skills in the technology and software applications used within CSU.
For some of these programs you will receive formal recognition through a nationally recognised statement of attainment or qualification.
