How to Apply?

Direct to CSU:

All applicants must complete an Application form and submit it to CSU Admissions.

Through UAC:

For the 2008 intakes, all international students currently attempting one of the following qualifications will be required to submit their application through UAC for more information on UAC please visit UAC website.

UAC are currently developing a new internationally-focused model that will address the needs of international students and agents - further information about this will be provided in due course. Please note that applicants who wish to study at the CSU Study Centres located in Sydney and Melbourne should still apply directly to the Study Centre Admissions unit as shown on the application for admission form.

To submit your application:
  1. Complete and sign the Application for Admission form
  2. Attach the following documents:

Some courses require additional documentation such as a portfolio, research proposal, questionnaire and referees reports. You should check the course description in the Faculty Booklets for additional documents that may be required for the course you have applied for

* Persons eligible to certify copies are: an authorised officer from the institution that originally issued the documents, an Australian Overseas Diplomatic Mission or Australian Education Office, Charles Sturt University representative, Public Notary, Justice of the Peace or staff member of Charles Sturt University . The authorised officer must sign and print their name clearly, include the date and an official stamp or seal of the authorised officer's organisation.

  1. Send the Application for Admission form and supporting documentation to CSU. Address details can be found on the form.
  2. If you meet the entry requirements, you will receive a formal Offer of Admission (conditional or unconditional), providing information on the course of offer, starting date and payment of fees. An information package for international students containing an Acceptance of Offer form, a copy of the University's Refund Policy and information on accommodation and living at CSU (for students planning to study in Australia) is also included with your offer letter.
