What is the climate like?
Bathurst has a hot climate with an average Summer (Dec-Feb) temperatures of around 28 ° C. In Winter (June-Aug), the average daytime temperature is 11 ° C, but at night it can be as low as -3 ° C. Students are advised to bring loose clothing for Summer and warm clothing, including a wind-proof jacket for Winter. Warm summers are punctuated by clear, crisp winters with occasional snow and stunning Spring and Autumn displays of colour.

The Islamic community is well catered for at Bathurst campus. The Muslim Prayer room has washing facilities and is located on the campus. Muslim students are also welcome to attend the mosque located in Bathurst and join the Central West Islamic Association.
