Our Orange campus is about six kilometres north of the city of Orange, which has a population of 38,000.

Orange is a progressive city with a friendly atmosphere and a range of entertainment venues as well as health and educational services.

Orange is 45 minutes by plane from Sydney.

The Orange Campus boasts the perfect combination of stunning country views in a city that is packed with culture, cuisine and community events.

What is the campus like?

The campus has all facilities needed for a great university experience. Our library is linked to CSU's enormous range of resources, and our recently opened multi-million dollar Pharmacy and Chemistry facilities offer students cutting edge equipment. In addition to state-of-the-art lecture theatres, tutorial rooms and video conferencing facilities, the campus also has a large vineyard, farm and equine centre.

Where is Orange?

Orange is located only four hours drive from Sydney. The city is well connected with rail, bus and train links to major metropolitan cities.

Who will meet me when I arrive in Orange?

As part of our personalised welcome service, the CSU International Student Adviser or a CSU representative will meet you on arrival in Orange.

You must be sure to let us know of your arrival details well in advance and ensure you book transport (plane, train or bus) from Sydney International airport to Orange.

What is the climate like?

Orange has a hot climate with average summer (Dec-Feb) temperatures of around 27 ° C. In winter (June-Aug), the average daytime temperature is 11 ° C, but at night it can be as low as -3 ° C. Students are advised to bring loose clothing for summer and warm clothing, including a wind-proof jacket for winter. Warm summers are punctuated by clear, crisp winters with occasional snow and stunning spring and autumn displays of colour.

What leisure activities are available in Orange?

The people of Orange enjoy excellent retail, sporting, educational and health services. With two movie cinemas, restaurants offering a range of cuisine, popular Farmers' Markets and an annual FOOD Week, Orange is a unique city that knows how to relax at the end of a hard day's work.
