Here are some common Aussie slang words
Aggro: Angry
Arvo: Afternoon
A tiff: A small fight or argument
Bloke: Male
Blow a fuse: Get angry
Blowies: Blow flies
Bludger: Someone who doesn't like working very hard
Bluey: Someone with red hair
Chock-a-block: Full
Chook: Chicken
Cop/Copper: Policeman
Couch Potato: Someone who spends a lot of time watching TV while lying about on the couch
Crook: Feeling sick or not good (e.g. I am feeling crook)
Uni: University
Ute: A type of motor vehicle
Dill: Someone who isn't very bright or has done something silly
Dob in: To tell somebody about somebody else’s actions (e.g. You cheated in your exams and I am going to dob you in to the Lecturer).
Dunny: Toilet/bathroom
Esky: Aportable container that is insulated and keeps your food/drinks cool
Fair go: To give someone a chance
G'day: Hello
Grog: Alcohol
Hold on a tick: Wait a minute
Mozzies: Mosquitos
No worries: Don’t worry about it
Pub: A bar
Outback: Remote parts of Australia
Sanger: Sandwich (eg. Steak Sanger)
